Wrapping Up Eclipse Season

Call me Cancer Rising, but there's something about the eclipses that - regardless of whether you're under the path of totality, or hide yourself secure away from the baleful rays - just feels like a hell of a lot. Then again, I am ruled by the Moon...

For me, I find - especially when we're finally leaving behind a certain set of eclipses - that recovering from the exhaustion, confusion, instability (or all three!) requires a bit of retrospection in order to put all the pieces in their proper context and feel good about charging forward again.

This last pair of eclipses, the Solar Eclipse at 21° Libra and the Lunar Eclipse at 5° Taurus marked the end of the battles between the Scorpion and the Bull and launch us thoroughly into the era of the (battering) Ram and the (finely balanced) Scales. (Yes, those of you keeping track might recall that we had our introduction to the current cycle earlier this year back in April.)

While there's certainly a general thrust to these cycles that's more or less true for everyone, eclipses have a much more specifically personal quality too.

A Five-Step Process

For those on the learning path to astro-mastery, or keen to DIY:

1) look to the houses that the eclipses occurred in
2) any planets in your chart that were... eclipsed by these particular alignments of Earth, Sun, and Moon.
3) Think back to the eclipses that occurred between November 19th, 2021 and October 28th, 2023.

Dates and Degrees of the Taurus / Scorpio Eclipses

November 19, 2021 - Lunar Eclipse 27° Taurus
April 30th, 2022 - Solar Eclipse 10° Taurus
May 16th, 2022 - Lunar Eclipse 25° Scorpio
October 25th, 2022 - Solar Eclipse 2° Scorpio
November 8th, 2022 - Lunar Eclipse 16° Taurus
May 5th, 2023 - Lunar Eclipse 14° Scorpio
October 28th, 2023 - Lunar Eclipse 5° Taurus

4) Ask yourself: What major beginnings, shifts, and endings coincide with those dates? What disappeared from sight? What took on a new look or meaning under a new light?
5) And, if you're feeling really retrospective, look back to the previous eclipses in those signs, as well as the ones that flanked your birth.

Post-Eclipse Recovery Sessions - Flash Sale

For those who prefer a bit of company with skilled guide for the journey, I'm running a quick flash sale for post-eclipse recovery sessions.

A distorted rainbow background image of the surface of Mercury with a crisp photo of the Hermes Ingenui statue from the Vatican collection. A pure white marble statue of a young looking man, clean shaven, wearing a thin-brimmed hat, mostly naked, with a robe draped across one shoulder and holding the caduceus. In the foreground are the words "flash sale" in white against purple.
